Edu Toys Terms and Conditions

In order to protect you (the customer) as well as our business we apply a few straight forward conditions to purchases made by mail order and over the internet.

Under UK and EU law you have a right to change your mind about your order in accordance with the following conditions:

1: You may cancel any order within seven working days after receiving the goods (your 'cooling off' period).

2: We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.

3: We only refund returned items which are kept in their original packaging and which show no signs of use.

4: We cannot accept you returning any order consisting of unsealed Video or Audio items.

5: You or the sender will be responsible for postage and packaging of returning unwanted items.

6: Goods need to be inspected immediately upon receipt to ensure your order does not contain damaged, defective or wrong items.

7: If you think an item is faulty, contact us within 10 working days to discuss the matter and arrange a replacement or an alternative.

8: If an item arrives damaged, contact us within 10 working days to arrange a replacement or an alternative. We might ask you to return the item or forward photographs or related evidence of the damage, in order to help us making a claim with the responsible carrier.

9: When we send you a replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return the original item within 10 days of us confirming the replacement of the item (by e-mail or by phone). If you do not return the original item to us by the end of the 10 day period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of your original order, including shipping costs, to the payment card you used for the order.

10: Damaged, defective, incorrect items, paid for by cheque, can only be replaced upon receipt of the returned goods of the original order.

11: Do not send off or return any goods without contacting us first. We will arrange with you how to dispatch the goods.

12: Refunds are only made to the original purchaser, never to third parties.

13: Goods are dispatched with a suitable carrier company or Royal Mail under their conditions of transport. We do not accept any responsibility for any delay during the transportation of your goods by Royal Mail or any carrier company.

14: We cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver, caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. illness, technology failure, travel or weather conditions etc.).

15: When you order goods from us or make purchases through our website(s), you will be subject to the 'terms and conditions' as laid out in this document, which we expect you to have read and understood, before placing your order.

16: We reserve the right to amend prices and specifications of products, contents of website(s), catalogues, policies, these terms & conditions etc. at any time.

17: When you purchase goods through an affiliate trader or retailer (a 'third party') of our products, you are advised to familiarise yourself with their 'conditions of sale' and/or 'terms of business', which are applicable to your purchase.

Data protection: We do not forward any of your details to agencies or other commercial institutions. From time to time we mail out promotional material to customers or subscribers to our mailing list, but customers and subscribers can instruct us to be excluded from our mailing list at any time.
